Truth: This picture is from the 16th.  You'll be seeing some fillers on this post and next - I don't know, but I dropped the ball.  Which really, worked out okay, because I had extra photos I wanted to share.  This is a little table setup in my parent's three season room.  After I took this, my dad was all like whoa, whoa - are you rearranging stuff? I worked on that!  Lol, he was joking ( I think?) and for the record I didn't move anything! :P

I feel like I've posted a similar photo, but whatever.  The sun rise has been super intense lately.  Thankfully my commute puts the sun behind me (mostly).  I think in this photo it sort of looks like there was an explosion behind me. Ha!

This is a filler.  This was taken the day before (with the yoga picture), but I think it's silly and it makes me smile.  So it's a good filler. :)

This is the side of a hotel.  Last weekend Brian and I went up to the Twin Cities to see the Minnesota Wild play (they won!!) and to visit his cousins.  It was a total blast - hockey, family and lots of good food makes for a great time.

I forgot I had this other FxCamera app, it's okay.  Can't do anything too crazy with it except it has some really fun "filters" like this one.  Which apparently is some charity that get's money everytime someone uses the filter and shares it!  Anyway, this was an amazing chicken salad sandwich I made...in the form of a water drop! lol

Renewable energy!  We pass a pretty massive wind farm on our way back east,  I'm always snapping pictures because they just look so eerie to me.  Especially when it's foggy!

Morgan!  Oh how I love this doggy!  This is my father's third child, lol. She is a labradoodle (lab + poodle) and super sweet!  Brian and I went "home" to celebrate St. Pat's on this weekend and had a blast!  Morgie even has a green hanker chief on, she's not getting pinched!

Brian hard at work! He was sitting at the table working on homework and I thought the light from his laptop looked cool.  I'm not sure he even noticed me at first. :P

So if you're a fellow Midwesterner chances are you've seen a bit o' snow this past week.  If you're also a commuter like myself, then you know how fun it was.  Yea.  I'm not sure I should have driven those days that I did, but I made it in one piece, so I guess it's all okay!

Brian and I have rediscovered incense. The first stick we burned I was flooded with memories of my teenage bedroom...scarf covered lamps, Jewel on my boombox (yea I said it) and me scribbling away in my journal, often with my dog laying nearby. Lol. Man, my dad hated this stuff.  Partially from the smell, but mostly because he thought I was going to burn the house down. Haha!  No worries Dad, I am safely burning my incense away from any flammables.  :P

Another commute day, but the roads were nice and clear.  The air was crisp, the sun was shining and everything was covered in a layer of frosty snow.  Basically, it was gorgeous!  So, I didt my usual midddle-of-the-road-stop and snapped this picture. :)

Okay, this is another cheat.  I forgot to take a photo this day, this is actually from the 6th.  However, he looks super handsome, so I'm posting it as a place holder.  Out of 59 (well 60 counting below), I've only missed 2 days...not too bad!

YAY!  Met up with two my of favorite ladies in Des Moines and had a little photo, girls day.  It was lots of fun!  The rain stopped for a bit right before dinner (at Americana, yum!), so we set up the tripod and took some fun photos at the sculpture park.  I also did a little photoshoot for my friend Lindsay (middle), so I hope to post those sometime in the next week or so.

Happy Two Year Anniversary Brian! <3  Yes, March 1st marked two years for Brian and I. :)  We went out to a nice dinner and to see Silver Linings Playbook - I enjoyed both.  Since I was way to busy enjoying a date night this is the only photo I got for the day - luckily I thought to document the lovely flowers he sent me!  What a guy, eh? :)

Happy Valentine's!  Hope you had a day full of love and chocolate!  This was at a stop sign on my commute home, I just thought the clouds looked cool.

All right, be prepared.  There are lots of dog pictures this week.  This is Morgan, my parent's dog (or if you want to get technical AND weird, my canine sister, LOL). Yes, the photo is blurry - it's cuz she wouldn't sit still.  For the record, this is one of the nicest dogs ever.  She just loves to give kisses!

Ooooh yes, lobster again!  If you couldn't tell by the previous picture...my family came for a visit!  It was lots of fun!! As we don't have many places to eat here in town, one night we went over to a small town called Thor and ate at Unkies.  And when I say small town, I mean it.  This restaurant basically is the town - and it's packed every weekend!  Btw, yes my lobster was as good as it looks. :)

Ohmyflippingawd.  Rylee is my parent's other dog.  She is a little westie...and so cute.  This picture was at the end of a long day of playing, so she's totally tuckered out.  BUT, don't let her cute looks fool you, this little girl has enough attitude for a dog 5x her size!

Another adorable dog!  Theo! :)  He was out on the front stoop surveying his land when I interrupted him.  Why?  Because I got a new camera lens! It's a Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II.  I LOVE it.  Does take some getting used to, but I love the results.  There are more using this new lens below....

I had myself a little late night snack...a cheese quesadilla and a hot toddy.  Oooo, now I remember - this was the week of my man voice!  Seriously, I got this stupid insane cold and, along with it, a husky, deep voice. Ha!

I have this crazy deadline at work and I went in on this Saturday to try to get more stuff done.  On a whim Brian decide to come up with me (for those of you who don't know my job is in a town an hour away) and get some school work down at a local coffee shop.  Well, this joint has the best grilled cheese and tomato basil soup ever.  Ever.  If you find yourself in Algona, go to The Perky Parrot.  Trust me.

Our dinner.  It was fantastic by the way.  Brian and I celebrated Valentines a night early, because my family was coming into town.  We had bought some lobster tails from trader joe's so we steamed them.  So yummy!  Oh, and Brian officially declared me as not picky.  Not just because of the lobster, but just in generally.  My family would describe me as the pickiest eater ever growing up, but Brian has gotten me to try so many things - and I'm glad for it.  Seriously, I would never have even looked at a lobster before.
