365 Update #16

I'm so ridiculously behind on posting that it's just sad.  Basically, the more photos that I had building up  the less I wanted to deal with them! Luckily, it's a long weekend and I have zero plans - so I have zero excuses!  Sit back, relax and be prepared for several blog updates this weekend!

This one is a lie.  It's another filler, but I hadn't shared it yet (at least not on this blog).  It's from awhile ago when Brian and I went geocaching. :)

My 5k training is going AWESOME.  I've passed some milestones that never seemed possible before and it just feels great!

So this happened.

I'm not joking.  I think we got about 8 inches of HEAVY snow...as you can see our tree is touching the ground.  It usually isn't...le sigh.  At least it melted pretty quickly.

Cutest. Dog. Ever.  Seriously, what a ham!  He spent a good 15 minutes just rolling around on the floor letting me take pictures of him! :)

Happy Cinco...one day early!  We went to a nearby "big" town to see Iron Man 3 and celebrate with mexican food.  The movie was pretty good and the margaritas were even better!

365 Recap #14

Have you guys seen Game of Thrones? If not, get HBO and watch it. Soooo worth it. Anyway, we are huge fans here, especially Brian. For Christmas he recieved a Game of Thrones cookbook. Yep, that’s right. This would be the Breakfast at Winterfell and lemme say, it was FANTASTIC. That’s a soft boiled egg there, didn’t know there was such a thing...but it was good!

I was sick this day and thus didn’t take a picture. But, you know me I like to substitute my “empty” days with fillers. I’ve been feeling motivated recently (with my jogging/training), so I used an old photo and a quote I liked. I actually did this completely on my phone with Pixlr Xpress - it was fun!

This was a crazy week, all sorts of weather. The first landscape road picture (above) it was gorgeous out. Then with this one we have dreary rain, which is not so bad, but the next day...

...SNOW. It’s not so bad here...and it wasn’t so bad in general. I just feel that any sort of snow mid April is ridiculous. I mean, I live in the midwest, so I know it happens, but it’s still ridiculous. Oh and today is 100 days! :)

Kitty! For real, that’s his name! He’s my friend’s cat and a big sweetie! I had pictures of her other cat, an orange gal named Joy, but they were super blurry. Prior to this, Missy and I had a little girls night and went out for dinner and drinks. Fun times! :)

This was a little experiment - while I don't love this image, I like it.  And I like the concept, so I'm going to try it again in the future with a stronger silhouette shape.

We bought a new couch!  Well, new to us couch...and I love it. It's got a retro vibe and it's avocado green, what more could you want?

Happy Birthday Missy! :)  Ha, okay those are belated now, but whatever.  I baked her a cake batter cheesecake for her birthday and lemme just say, this shit was amazing.  For real.  I wish I had some right now....
