Vonda // Badass Beauties Project

Earlier this fall I had a little idea for a photography project and just ran with it. In short, I wanted to provide women I know with a photo of themselves that they loved. That meant something to them and made them feel happy, beautiful, strong. So, I asked each one of them to choose a location that meant something to them and then we'd meet up there for a photoshoot.

I met up with Vonda on a sunny afternoon. We took a little walk and she showed me her super secret reading spot. Not telling you where it is! :)

Winter Wonderland

If you're in the midwest - specifically north central/west Iowa, you are probably covered in snow at the moment!  After a failed attempt to get to work (icy roads? no thanks!), I came back and took some photos of the trees out front.  They were quite pretty in the morning light.

And my cute little dog...or rather his butt, ha!

This is my typical pre-bed ritual - most recently I've been watching old CSI Miami episiodes, though I'm not sure why.  It's not really that great of a show, but I can get the regular CSI (las vegs) via instant, so it will do. Lol

Okay, another of Theo, but not a lazy photo.  Lazy for him though, ha!  He was wet and cold and shivering, so we wrapped him up in blankets (one was heated)!  He freaking loved it and ended up dozing.  A sleepy puppy is a good puppy. :P

The weather wasn't awful, so we decided to go geocaching!  It ened up with the three of us covered in mud and at one point I was certain Brian was going to fall into the river.  Regardless, we had a lot of fun!
